 Quality and Certification

Stability Test
This is a test to check whether the contents

of the product are safely maintained
without changes in environments
such as temperature, humidity, and light.

The purpose is to prevent problems
in advance when consumers use
the product by observing
for a certain period of time
whether there is any deterioration,
discoloration, or change in ingredients.

This is an important process to verify
the product's ability to maintain quality
under various environmental conditions.

The manufacturer must perform
the stability test with its own
experimental methods and equipment.
This is the important reason
why you should collaborate
with a reliable manufacturer.

CT, Compatibility Test
This is a process to check the compatibility
of the formulation and container
for physical and chemical stability.

It evaluates whether there is no change
in color, scent, or viscosity
when the contents come
into contact with the container,
and whether the container
itself is maintained
without deformation or leakage.

In addition, from the perspective
of consumer usability, it also checks
what the appropriate capacity is,
whether the formulation is dispensed well,
and whether the appropriate amount comes out
when used. Since this is a key test that
must be performed before product launch,
it plays an important role in maintaining quality
and ensuring distribution safety.

Clinical Test
This refers to a test in which
a person actually uses the product
to verify the efficacy, effectiveness,
or safety of a cosmetic product.

It's usually conducted
by a credible clinical research organization
(CRO) and, under the supervision of an expert,

the subject uses the product
for a certain period of time,
and the skin condition before and after use
is quantitatively or qualitatively evaluated.

It's generally used for marketing purposes
to empirically prove
the effectiveness of a product,
but in some countries,
clinical results may be legally required
to seek a specific claim.

CoA, Certificate of Analysis
This is an official test result document
that proves that the final finished product
meets the quality standards.

It is an important document that proves
the product's compliance
with legal regulations for not only
the appearance but also the contents,
so it must be obtained
before the product is released.

CoO, Certificate of Origin
A certificate of origin is a document
that proves the country or region
in which a specific product was produced.

It's mainly used to confirm
the origin of the product during
the import/export process and,
if necessary, to apply preferential tariffs.

In simple terms,
a certificate of origin serves as a kind
of identification card that proves the nationality
of the product in international trade.

MSDS,
Material Safety Data Sheet

This is an official document
that comprehensively contains
the physical and chemical properties
of raw materials included in the product,
safe handling methods, and hazard information.

It's essential data for the safe transportation,
storage, and handling
of not only cosmetic raw materials
but also all chemical substances.
It is also an important standard
for information sharing between manufacturers,
importers, and distributors.

In particular,
it's one of the key documents
that must be submitted
to meet the safety regulations
of the country in question
when exporting overseas.

CGMP,
Cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practice
CGMP refers to the standards for manufacturing
and quality control for manufacturing
and supplying excellent cosmetics
with guaranteed quality.

Thorough quality and hygiene standards
are applied throughout the entire process
from raw material receipt to product production,
filling, packaging, storage, and shipment
to ensure product safety and consistency.

CGMP certification is a procedure
that officially recognizes
that the manufacturing facility
has manufacturing capabilities
at an international quality level.

When selecting a manufacturer,
it's necessary to check
whether the company is CGMP certified.

ISO,
International Organization
for Standardization
This is an international
management system certification
established by the International Organization
for Standardization (ISO) that evaluates
whether a quality, environment,
and safety management system
that meets global standards is in place.

In the cosmetics industry,
ISO 22716 (International Guidelines
for Cosmetic Manufacturing and Quality Control)
is considered particularly important,
and this certification can credibly prove
the ability to secure hygiene and quality stability
in the manufacturing environment.

Manufacturers with ISO 22716 certification
are evaluated as having the foundation
to maintain consistent product quality and
increase export competitiveness
in the international market. Along with CGMP,
it's used as an important indicator
to confirm the quality level of the manufacturer.
